Many people tell me that they believe in a five fold ministry. With that in mind consider Paul's admonition to all believers in Colossians 3:12-14
"... as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." (Colossians 3:12-14 NIV 1984)
Here is a five fold ministry all of us can do; clothe yourself, wear, cover yourself with 1.Compassion,2. kindness, 3. humility, 4. gentleness, 5. patience. Those are the undergarments. That's what should be on the inside.
Then he says, "Over all these virtues, put on love which binds them all together in unity." Love is the outer garment that holds it all together. As Christ' ambassadors on the Earth, we should live in and live out the love of Christ at all times.
How would this world be different if every believer, every congregation would adhere to this admonition!
